Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this:
to look after orphans and widows in their distress
and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.
James 1:27
Through actions of love, we bring hope, restoration and healing to the afflicted, to people who were affected by natural disasters, war, displacement, genocide, poverty, hunger and disease.
Global Help To Heal is fully committed to helping the underprivileged to recover morally, physically, spiritually, and economically. People in Rwanda have been supported with food, shelter, education, and counseling. Our team has launched several humanitarian projects to ease people's lives by assisting one person, one family, and one village at a time. Why Rwanda?
We identify the children at risk who do not attend school because of extreme poverty or other extenuating circumstances. We establish a relationship with them by playing sports and then invite them to group meetings where we teach them about the harm of substance abuse and the importance of getting an education.
GHH runs an ECD program for children 2-6 years old where children are engaged in age- appropriate developmental activities. Teachers work with them, as they play games, play with toys, sing, dance and participate in activities stimulating the development of their thinking, speech and character.
GHH helps the neediest families to pay for tuition and school materials, as well as for health insurance, and tutor and supervise children in the after-school program. GHH also provides families with domestic animals to help them start animal farming.
GHH runs a program teaching young people sewing and knitting skills to enable them to provide for themselves and their families in the future.
Understanding the needs of people and healing their lives is a long process that requires collective effort. Determination of needs is not based on location, race, gender, or belief. Regardless of where people are, Global Help To Heal is always committed to changing the lives of those in need.
